J Boone Dryden
J Boone Dryden is the founder and director of the Milwaukee Writers Workshop, which began in 2006. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee with a degree in Creative Writing.
He has been published as both a writer and an editor. His fiction works can be found at EveryDayFiction.com and 365Tomorrows.com. His editorial works have included Steampunk Magazine, the When the World Runs Thin anthology (2005), and CCN Magazine. He also has a forthcoming steampunk novel in 2013 with ICOSA Entertainment.
Moderators assist the Director in a number of classroom settings, namely in helping with critique sessions, as well as workshops and seminars. It is hoped that folks wishing to be moderators are interested in being regular attendees to either the short works critique or the novel critique (or both).

Michael Haen – Education & Cirriculae Intern
As a senior at Marquette University majoring in Writing-Intensive English and Criminology, my long-term goals include a career in higher education, education reform, or social work. After graduation, I will be either teaching secondary English in Milwaukee through Teach for America, or will be starting my first year as a student enrolled in a Composition and Rhetoric Master’s Program. These plans stem primarily from my experiences as a writing tutor and summer writing instructor at Marquette. As a MWW intern, I hope to gain increased practice in my lesson-planning strategies and curriculum development for Creative Writing instruction.
