Membership
Purchasing a membership with The Milwaukee Writers Workshop is a great way to make to improve your writing and be part of a growing community of writers in the city. Our memberships offer a variety of free stuff and discounts for workshops, seminars, and courses throughout the year, as well as events MWW hosts.
Free Stuff
- Critique: our bi-weekly critique sessions for both short works and novels
- Extension Groups: our bi-weekly learning extension in Ozaukee County and at UWM
Discounts
- Courses: Receive a $10 discount on all workshops and $15 on all seminars and lectures
- One-on-One Coaching: Receive a discounted rate on coaching
Priority
- Critique: Receive priority in the submission queue over non-members for review in the critique sessions
- Reading Session: Be first on the list when signing up for our monthly readings at the Public House
Cost
- Basic Membership costs $15 per quarter or $50 per year.
- Family Membership costs $25 per quarter or $75 per year.
- Charter Membership good for 20 years and transferable one time to anyone of your choosing. This is available for $500 and offers all of the above plus an increased discount on all classes to $25.
