The Milwaukee Writers Workshop is dedicated to helping the Milwaukee writing community. How do we do that?

By helping writers write: we host workshops, classes, and events that help beginning writers to published writers learn skills to improve their work.
By critiquing writers work: we have bi-weekly and monthly critique and discussion groups that look in-depth at writers' works in order to improve those pieces.
By supporting our community: we help writers pursue the goals they set for themselves.

Coworking

Co-working: The idea behind co-working comes from a notion started in the late 90s and extended into today. It's about getting together and feeding off the creative energy with a group of folks and help you produce. We meet every Tuesday (excluding the 3rd Tuesday of the month) at the Alterra in Shorewood to simply work on projects, chat about projects, and whatever else comes to mind.

This is also a great opportunity for prospective members to come and talk to the Director about the organization and ask questions.

Cost: Always FREE.
