The Milwaukee Writers Workshop offers three types of classes throughout the year.
Workshops:
Our workshops are one-day, single-topic sessions led by the Director or a guest lecturer from the city’s talented writers. See our schedule of workshops for 2012 here.
On our Calendar of Events these are marked with their appropriate series–”Plotting,” “Fiction,” “Genre,” or “Concise”–for easy reference.
Cost: $5 with Membership; $15 without membership.
Seminars:
Our seminars are long-form workshops covering a variety of topics over the course of two days. See our schedule of workshops for 2012 here.
On our Calendar of Events these are marked with “Seminar” for easy reference.
Cost: $15 with Membership; $30 without membership.
Lectures:
Our courses are one- or two-hour sessions taught over a semester-like period (generally 6 or 12 weeks) that deal with a particular topic in detail. See our schedule of workshops for 2012 here.
On our Calendar of Events these are marked with “Lecture” for easy reference.
Cost: Varies per class. $15 Membership discount applies.
